Of the Hawks, watched a fair bit of the game, geez Chol impresses me every time, continues to do stuff you don’t expect from a big man.
Hawks fitness and conditioning staff have done wonders, he couldn’t run out a half at the suns.

I know this is the hawks board, but gee the dogs were woeful. Slow movement no risk, other than Richards and shocking mistakes handed that game to hawthorn

Look at the range of versions of Essendon. From one quarter to the next.
Instead of trying to play standoffish uncontested from the start. Why not just start the game at full pressure like Hawthorn did, then rachet it back until you match your opponents level and finally preserve your lead.?
Its pretty clear no team can play the whole game at full pressure so its become a strategy game, when to put the foot down, when to drop off, when to slow down, when to hit the accelerator.
Lets see if the Hawks can follow up at such high pressure 2 weeks in a row against Adelaide.

Agree. Very noticeable how much the Doggies didn’t handle the pressure at all well, Tom Libba fumbling on multiple occasions is all you need to know.
