Season 2025 - Melbourne

That’s idiotic

Truly terrible decision by Melbourne

He’s a small forward who can play stints in the middle…but it’s his inconsistency that worries me here. When he’s on he’s unstoppable but there have been plenty of times where he just isn’t influential. Now they’ve guaranteed him over a million a year for the next 9 years!! I think this is madness. Time will tell I guess.

Hopefully Kosi’s form goes the same way as every Essendon player who signs a long contract.

Long term contracts are all the rage these days.

All the rage? Long contracts at EFC certainly trigger lots of Blitzers.

A classy player and just as classy off the field. Respect

Trying to lure Daniher out of retirement to play for them.

Interesting approach.

Joe is keen as long as he can still live in Byron Bay.

Why are they bothering? That list isn’t winning a premiership anytime soon. It’s not even making the finals.

I think they believe they are a key forward away from competing again.

Wouldn’t surprise me if they throw the kitchen sink at Curnow or try and get Harry McKay.

Delusional.

Daniher wasnt interested in the good stuff back then Goodwin and hes not interested in it now.

They are scared to rebuild after how bad it got last time, even though they got a flag at the end.

They would rather hang around mid table and force blokes that want to leave to stay.

Joe will have plenty of space at the empty MCG to sit down in the middle of a game if hes playing for the Dees.

He could sit on the fence and eat a cheese platter

They have Bulldogs, Hawks and Pies. Hopefully they beat the Hawks.
