So… if saints are offering that kind of deal for that kind of player, am guessing we won’t be winning any trade / FA players any time soon.
We’re not really any more of a destination club than them. Anzac Day, Dream time & the massive Country Round 
surely won’t make us more attractive than the crazy $’s they’re throwing around.
Hypothetically, they’d be offering H. Reid $2.2m (pro-rata on talent) a year then?

Finn Callaghan is decent but nothing special IMO.
If you told me a club offered a multi million $ deal, I’d still be thinking “nah”.
That deal is bonkers if correct, and encapsulates exactly why that club are the biggest failure in the AFL.
Callaghan is a very good player. Would be top five in most sides this year or next
