Not like Leigh Tudor is some newby, has been around playing & coaching V/AFL since the 90s. He may not have agreed with the treatment Voss got. But I don’t see any situation where he didn’t know.

If I had to “barrack” for a team to win the flag this year it be Fremantle.
Like how they’ve gone about it to get themselves into serious contention and it would be a good to see them snag it.

Outside of Melbourne (my Grandpa’s team and my #2), Fremantle would be it. Always had a soft spot for them since the saga and how they treated us.

SWITTA retiring at just 29 is a bit of a surprise.
Having said that, he’s had his share of concussions and doesn’t sound like he’s short of a shekel, so why not.
Also sounds like he’s moving back to Melbourne to be around family before his kid is born.

I think he has done a pretty decent job with this list but yeah if you drop 3 home finals you are in trouble

Well you posted in another thread they (and others) have rebuilt quicker than us so assume they do have a good list and not just aiming for 10th every year like us.
Did they also get smashed in a prelim at home a few years back?
EDIT: no, but have lost 4 of their last 5 home finals.

Their list is good but I do think out of the top 4 they have probably have the 4th best list. I do think they have assembled a list that hang around that top 4-6 for a couple of years at least
That’s still a good list. Not like he is taking a bunch of C-graders with a couple of a-graders to the first week of the finals.
I think they have a better list than Hawks and Swans, hence why I think he gets the arse, especially as there were calls to sack him last year.

Obviously Fremantle do not want another loss, BUT the bigger issue is the length of Longmuir’s tenure. He has coached them for seven years with improvement in most years, however, they need to nail wins in final’s.
