One long-term Gawn injury from falling off the cliff completely…
I had the impression that unduly rough contact had infiltrated May’s play over the last couple of years. It comes from frustration with own performance drop off and possibly other life issues off field. For some its difficult to come to terms with footy mortality in a players early 30s. It’s probably time for May to retire. Some footy commentators are calling for it vociferously.
He’s always been pretty rough, he used to bully Daniher.
Another team that will rebuild and be back competing while we are still Swaggering our way to 12th.
Few reports of it sidelining him for 3 months.
Well, at least that answers how Jack Steele is going to fit in their lineup.
Although not tall by any measure, his absence is huge as he is their on field soul and drives srandards.
Yeah/nah reckon they are cooked.
Who are we death riding this year?
Lock for bottom four.
Surgery on his achilles that’s season over for Viney you think
What a bunch of wingeing toffs.
Gawn says they had a nightmare year last year
At least you got a flag and won multiple finals over the last quarter of a century, so stop farking complaining. While I think of it, I reckon the Bombers had the bad year to end all bad years.
But Gawn is mainly complaining because the end is in sight, the AFL has changed the ruck rules and he lost weight to extend his career and now you just have to touch him and he falls by the wayside.
Hawks, Merrett will request another trade at seasons end
Oliver, Protractor, Viney gone.
What midfield? Bottom 4
Gawn finished
May might not play again.
They are proper cooked
Based on?
It’s a big call saying the AA ruck of last season is finished.
This his last year isn’t it
Only if you ignore him being contracted for 2027 as well.
Rumours abound that Steven May won’t be seen at AFL level again with an announcement expected tomorrow that he has decided to “retire”. (cough euphemism cough)
