I had the impression that unduly rough contact had infiltrated May’s play over the last couple of years. It comes from frustration with own performance drop off and possibly other life issues off field. For some its difficult to come to terms with footy mortality in a players early 30s. It’s probably time for May to retire. Some footy commentators are calling for it vociferously.

At least you got a flag and won multiple finals over the last quarter of a century, so stop farking complaining. While I think of it, I reckon the Bombers had the bad year to end all bad years.
But Gawn is mainly complaining because the end is in sight, the AFL has changed the ruck rules and he lost weight to extend his career and now you just have to touch him and he falls by the wayside.
