Spaletti is a good club coach but wasn’t proactive with the players he had. Tried to get them playing a style that didn’t suit the cattle he had

But this is a rubbish concept , really. The difference in standard across the various leagues makes it worthless, and achieves nothing more than giving some poor players a chance to injure very expensive investments.

Poms destroyed the Serbs in Belgrade 5-0 today and are almost through to the WC. Norway pumped Moldova 11-1 and will most likely top the group and leave Italy facing a possible qualifier.
In Africa, tiny Cape Verde knocked off Cameroon 1-0 and are within striking distance of a WC spot. Not bad for a nation of under 600k population

My significant experience in various iterations of CM/FM suggests about 10% of the Portuguese league has Cape Verdean 2nd nationality (as a former colony) - is their national team stacked with guys who had previously not quite made the Portugal squad ?
(Same story as Mozambique)
