I saw someone bring in kfc into the cinema by using those oversized handbags. Just 2 large chips and 2 big serves of popcorn chicken.

My grandma used to live almost across the rd from the showgrounds in Ascot Vale. So we used to park cars in her place to make a little cash during the Trots on a Saturday, and also during the show. Once the place was full, we’d know how long it was before the first car needed to leave, so Nan and I would sneak across to the show for a quick binge.

I don’t know if they make them any more but when I was about eight going to the movie theatres for the first time I was bought a packet of Beanies which are just a cheap Smarties knock off. It felt like half kilos worth, during never-ending story I think it was.
I’ve never touched a beanie again.
