Slip into a cinema and give yourself a treat …

At Palace cinemas they sell panettone, and very nice it is. With the added bonus of not being crunchy and not coming in a noisy bag.

I read that as nose bag initially.

A nose bag of Panettone…MMMMMnnnn

I made a deal with my wife a few years ago. In return for helping her out with something valuable l banned her from buying popcorn for 100 movies. Then Covid struck after about 20 movies into the deal.

Nut Slab. Remember a Touring Car, maybe a Commodore, advertising those at Bathurst 1000. Wouldn’t have ever looked at them otherwise. Effective advertising.

Last time I had Twisties they tasted like cardboard compared to the old recipe.
That ad in the OP brought back memories. What about this one:

(Even remember being annoyed that the kick drum was synced to the snare.)

There’s a thick cut brand of chips/crisps from the 90’s that were amazing. Can’t recall their name. Not sure if they make them anymore. Will do some research.

Ruffles maybe??

Yes, Ruffles were a brand of thick, very nice chips. I seem to recall Warren Mitchell (Alf Garnett) doing TV commercials for them with the tag “Bet you can’t eat just one”.
