I am not surprised but l am a little disappointed that Blitzers in this thread have turned on Solomon and are so quick to dismiss his candidacy. Not content with bagging him for standing for the board, some then go and dismiss him for his business standing. As if any of us have any knowledge of his motives or business dealings, we don’t.

I have no inside knowledge on any of these matters either, and have no idea if he will win or not, l don’t know if he will make a decent board member or not. However, I do applaud his willingness to stand, and would like even more people to contest positions on the board, not fewer. The more candidates that contest the election, the healthier the board will be.
