I remember after the game walking towards Flinders where a hawks fan threw his scarf and jumper over the bridge and onto the train tracks all his Essendon mates where giving it to him

Agreed. I can’t see any more than 9 or 10 goals from our forwards, because our mids don’t kick goals - the goals are at right angles to where our mids have their eyes! Someone like Gunston will kick 4 or 5 (again) and will be the difference.
Stringer 2, Tipungwuti 2, Langford 1, Snelling 1 - are things that we won’t see in the ‘Goals’ stat, which has been missing most of the year. We’ve lost 5-6 goals each game through injury so far.
Cara is part of the problem I’m told. Is seen by many as lazy and doesn’t put in the hours with the players …….I was shocked when I wa told. Now I’m disappointed in Cara. Also heard poor feedback on Tutor. Big question marks on recruiting - especially KPPs. Fitness is rubbish and many players are way off elite AFL standards. These are all comments from an ex player who is close to the club.

I would say the wheels have definitely fallen off but I think it is more like they are sitting on the road thinking they had a car in the first place……….some serious delusions at this club

They’ll never help Essendon, and it would be highly hypocritical of them if they did.
Anyway, our level of basket caseness hasn’t quite reached that of North Melbourne
