Barham played sheeds. Got him to cross the floor then told him he would get imput on new coach.
Sheeds should have known how boards work, its not a dictatorship
Personally I think the entire board needs to go.
It is perfectly clear the “Independent review” was never independent. It was a dressed up review to perpetuate jobs for the boys.
Glad I cancelled my membership a couple of years ago. They are not deserving of my hard earned.

Yeah this is more an issue with Sheedy going completely rogue. Convincing Hird he can get the job, knifing multiple board members, sabotaging clarko, thinking he had the final vote on the coach, throwing a tantrum when he didnt get his way and now constantly leaking to robbo. He needs to go and stop tarnishing his reputation

On the coach, Barham was right to play Sheedy. Change was needed and Hird was not the right guy.
On the CEO, this is completely inexplicable on every level. There were numerous reasons, obvious to almost anyone, why Thorburn was inappropriate (NAB disgrace, obvious conflict, no football experience) before even considering the church stuff. For that, Barham has got to be on shaky ground.

Nobody was lied to. He got to apply for the job, and was considered. He was never guaranteed the job.
Slob on has written anything that was not known, he just embellished it with his usual agenda.
All of us are victims in some sense. Neither Sheedy or Hird will let it worry them.

Sheedy, yes - but he does a pretty good job of that himself.
I don’t hate them.
I just don’t have the same emotional attachment others do, and can see their flaws.
Can someone post the article - not subscribing to that rag.
That article basically claims that Sheedy wanted the entire coaching search to be a sham process and that he would just gift Hird the job.
Instead it WAS a sham process, but to gift it to/headhunt Brad Scott instead.
