Dudoro must be ecstatic the afl stopped listing player weights. We must have the meekest list in the entire league.

the problem is, they’ve signed a lot of the big problems to long term deals.
parish, redman etc.
the worst part about tonight is, that was essentially our supposed best on paper midfield (minus durham)
merrett,parish, setterfield plus the others who rotated are all the starting and percieved best midfield. and the got spanked by a team missing 2-3 of their best midfield.
tackling is still an issue
team defence is still an issue
the list is so out of whack, but that’s also down to the coach not identifying there’s massive issues there also.
I think it says something that ben mckay coming from north melbourne, and their history showed more determination and fight to the end than most of the side tonight, he ain’t coming from a successful culture yet he still fought to the end.
half our list, of which most of them have been at the club for 4-5 years plus, gave up half way through the second quarter when it all became too hard.
the list is dog average no doubt, but this ■■■■ is the same stuff that was happening under knights, so there’s something going on that creates this environment.
I’m no dodo fan, but he ain’t this all encompassing force that has scott making the exact same mistakes rutten made, that worsfold made that go all the way back to knights.
zac merrett’s interview on channel 7 at half time showed him saying he likes learning and studying the game to try and get better and make the club better and that, he seems like the anti essington prototype, but some of the ■■■■ said on blitz is on point to what our problems are, yet no one at the club seems to be able to do anything about fixing the problem, other than merely identifying the problem

Yeah, Dodo has become the boogeyman for the club’s predicament but I don’t believe it to be the main factor. You have to let the current club management and coaching panel own what it has charge of.

Our head of development came from where?
It’s never talked about.
Tonight was culture. Attitude and ‘standards’. They gave up again tonight.
Then there’s fitness and conditioning: Reid, Ridley, Perkins, Parish (playing injured??). Soft tissues.
Development: VFL program as bad as last year. Why?? It’s not good enough and it’s hard to believe these departments are still not improving. This indicates we aren’t making progress in the areas we needed and hoped would be seen this year.
So disappointing.

(1) Not enough two way runners. (2) Menzie and Cox = No more AFL please. (3) Parish pedestrian. The two inch handpass to a team mate in a worse position is good for the statistics but bad for the club. (4) No structure when we clogged the backline,meaning when we released the footy they continued to intercept mark with greater numbers at the contest. (5) Season over.

We keep recruiting soft players who don’t have an a ounce of competitiveness.

Yeah nah the boys are hurting and aaahhhhh, we trained the house down in the pre season and ahhhhhh the supporters just need to be patient.
