Things going well at the moment, no need to change anything.
This aināt rock bottom.
Just wait for Paul Little to put a ticket together, so he can re-instate his crewā¦. And we get Dodoro back running the List again.
You didnāt really take that from my comment.
This idiot on 3aw, must be shane mcguiness, reckons we are more fragmented now than what we were during the supplements saga
Yeah mate, this is exactly what I worry about; going back to the future.
Heās not agitating atm. Things can obviously change but thereās no signs heās starting to get aroused!
I can bet you that the Coteries are talking to him daily about putting a ticket together.
They are one of the biggest blights on this club.
They might be but I was told yesterday heās not yet creating problems.
They are a ā ā ā ā ā ā ā cancer
They have no problems posting selfies with Dave Barham and Andrew Welsh on instagram, while they schmooze at coterie functions.
The next day, theyāre knifing them by backing a Board Coup.
They genuinely are a cancer on this club.
Barham would know about coups, seeing as he knifed his own chairman to get the top job. Any move against Barham would not be a coup because it would be through the AGM or EGM and out in the open.
Iām with Dan Gorringe
Gut the whole club. Bring in someone from AWFL to oversee club appointments. Bring in a young president (under the age of 50) to lead the club and the board.
Blow up the coaching panel. Bring in coaches who have come from WINNING clubs (I dont care if we have an Yze/King inexperienced). Trade anyone who doesnāt want to be here and hit the draft hard.
Welp, todayās AFLW result isnāt going to help things.
In reality our season ended with FarkCarlton, but then the team, who expects to be going away for a break are forced to play a pointless game (for them, not the Suns) after everyone else is done.
They had checked out as you would expect. No reason to bust a gut and get injured.
The game should have been played earlier in the season but the AFL are stupid.
To me it was a nothing game for our players and could have lead to someone doing an injury. How much we lost by is also meaningless in reality.
The earlier beltings hold more issue.
Welsh is going to be taking over soonish anyway and he is under 50.
And fark the AFL, they canāt even run a simple game of tiddleywinks themselves.
Who?
Give it a few months.
I think thereās a cream for that
Iād agree with that
How much has the soft cap impacted the clubs ability to build a quality football program?
Particularly all the early termination pay-outs in recent years.
What have we had?
- Worsfold
- Rutten
- Thorburn
- X?
- Dodorro
- Anyone else?
- Caracella highest paid VFL coach?
Is this a major reason why Hyper Performance/ S&C had been so underinvested up until now.
Cheaper, inexperienced assistant coaches too?
I suspect a list of ordered priorities was developed, as we couldnāt do everything sooner. Prioritise beginning with:
- CEO: Vozzo
- List Management: Rosa/ OāBrien
- Player Development: Rath
- High Performance: Innes/ Regan
Next:
- Football Department: Hinkley
- Assistant Coaches: ??
You donāt see such regular pay-outs at successful clubs. Cats, Lions etc, who in turn have had far superior and consistent football departments. Has this soft cap issue caused a spend juggling act? Have we only had the money to bolster a division once a pay-out has come off the books?
Hereās hoping all those pay-outs have finalized or are very close to.
And most importantly, please no more ā ā ā ā hires and early terminations.
