My sympathy for the players is zero.

I’m deadset fed up with these blokes.

I just can’t figure out people have so much loyalty to the players.

it’s an emotional familiarity they have conditioned on the premise that they are apart of the club, therefore they care for the club as much as the individual supporter and thus are infact in the same boat/fight.

Where in reality most players just view it as a job, which no shade to those who do, as long as they do their job to the best of their abilities.

it’s also the same emotion that the club taps into to evoke said loyalty of the fans, that they rely on to continue to fleece money from people. granted people also use that same mechanism to laud over others as a true and better supporter than others.

it’s like cults, or flat earthers people just want to feel connected to something, even if it’s a false ideology or belief system.

Like how people are obsessed with administrators of the club, and will back them ahead of the club’s best success.

would explain why most of they made it through the year, while the older players broke down.

cousins only started getting injured when he had to vaguely limit his party drug intake later in his career.

Our playing group was born with a spoon their mouth.

Senior player taking large million dollar contracts and then disappearing.

Or a playing group whose lack professionalism and lack of conditioning led to the worst injury list in history.

The playing group have been nothing short of a disappointment…. And my sympathy level for them is 0.
