So then, presumably Merrett, decided it was better that everyone be tarred with the same brush and put it out in public? Good luck next year Zach when we hold you to your contract and roster a player each week to take a Cleveland steamer in your boots.
IF this turns out to be leaked by Merrett and his camp. Make him sit out his contract on his couch, donât even play him in the VFL
Yes, I back Craig Vozzo and Iâve been a supporter of Brad Scott. I have liked what Rosa has done with the recruitment via the draft, itâs been very goodâŚ. And seems to understand what character traits you need to build a team around, and skill sets that are needed in the modern game.
But overall, I would have dropped this club a decade agoâŚ. If it wasnât for the Essendon supporter community. Thatâs the only thing that makes me come back to this club.
The place has been run by self interest which has been led by the Board and fed through to the playing group. Iâm done with it. Iâm not putting up with it anymore.
I heard each of them are fond of Capri pants.
Or as Kako calls them: Pants.
Roberts is the type of player who will try and line up Merret irrespective of the club Merrett plays for.
I can live with Capri. They get a tick.
I must say, Iâm truly shocked that the much publicised âstabilityâ and âraised standardsâ we heard about all year, has turned out to be absolute horsesh*t.
dmapes in shambles
Heâll find a way to spin it. Itâs his job, afterall.
As much as I want him gone, itâd be kinda funny watching Roberts line him up whilst still playing for us.
Those intraclubs can be brutal
What a conflicting post.
Whatâs going on? Ibiza came to us this year?
There is a divide
This news was with the PFA and club since June and it comes out just now? Is it remotely possible Hawks got hold of anything derogatory EFC wise due to a leaky person itk
and passed it onto that outstanding journalist we all know and love Tom Morris. Timing is everything as some say.
Of course I see grassy knolls everywhere these days with our beloved club.
The CEO of a club does not know of any failed tests until the third (and final) strike.
Any first or second strikes are confidential between the AFL and the club doctor.
I call bullshit on this one
To be frank - it sounds more like the sort of talk a headmaster at a prissy boyâs boarding school would say to the year 12s when they are headed out on their mid-year break.
I donât actually understand what the story is.
President and Coach spoke to players about the dangers of illicit drugs.
What am I mssing?
Can you please define âdifficult to deal with?â
In the sense that he would make unreasonable trade demands or the ânot return calls/adhere to etiquetteâ sort of thing?
Thatâs how I interpreted it. I just think Morris kind of doesnât understand the info he has been given to report it properly.
If that were to be the case, then this is absolutly a story.
Could this explain why Vozzo has been rumoured to be looking around at other clubs? Yet another victim to a perennially soft â â â â and sensitive player group culture?
