Songs that sound like other artists songs

So the gist of what I’m aiming for here are popular songs that just sound REALLY similar to those by other artists. Either vocally/lyrically or by structure. Even to the point that you’ve grown up thinking, " wasn’t that song by artist XYZ??"- and realised it just SOUNDED like it was.
And the best thing- its all YOUR opinion!!

I’ll kick things off with a couple.

This is maybe the lost Pink Floyd song that never was:

And when I first heard this, I thought, " hey, new song by The Sports"

I always felt that this was sung by someone else but I’m not sure who it was.

I heard this the other day.

I could have sworn this was a Marilyn Manson song from the 90’s, but turns out…

No Promises by Icehouse: About as close to Bowie as it gets!

Complete and utter rip off of Postal Service that went huge:

I was sure that ‘Owner of a Lonely Heart’ was sung by Sting in the 80’s.

I went to see an Ice Hockey game in Vancouver. It wasn’t Stanley Cup, it was the level below (their equivalent of the VFL if you know what I mean).

There was an Owl City song (not Fireflies) on high rotation over the PA. Well, I assume it was Owl City because it sounded exactly like Fireflies, and why would anyone want to ripoff Owl City?

I was impressed that Owl City actually had another song…

Tell me “The Writings on the Wall” by OK GO is not ripped off very heavily inspired from Regret by New Order.

A pet hate, these try hards cashing in on other people’s work:

This is a just a prince impersonation without the talent and eccentricity.

And that Bruno Mars and Mark Robson thing Uptown Funk hadn’t a single idea to add to the funk tracks from the 70s.

And here’s the Arcade Fire channeling Springsteen:

This one seems like more of an homage than the above rip offs.

How Little Stevie didn’t get his arse sued off for this blatant lift is quite beyond me…
