It’s not strictly true that I haven’t heard this in years, but my googling around for the simple chords for Who by fire ( a couple posts up) took me to this, which is also used in a film. In a slightly corny scene (I love it anyway, as I do the whole film) in Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Anyway until I saw it in that film I hadn’t heard it in years. Might go on a bit of a Leonard Cohen binge now. Great song.

An underrated special from a (sometimes) overrated artist.
The original is a banger and makes the Madonna version seem utterly superfolous. It also features in the sopranos, so gets a thumbs up for that.
