Yeah, it was probably about half a dozen runs through before the hooks started sticking, and I started recognising the repeated motifs sprinkled throughout (being a concept album and all)…

I’ve been listening to Stuckfish today…another English Prog band I found from Facebook.

They’ve released four albums so far…The Watcher (2nd album) and Days of Innocence (3rd album) have gone straight to the playlist…currently listening to IV (their 4th album :wink: ).

Wow haven’t heard these for 15 years. I remember having this CD in the car and spilling something into the bag of cds and ruining most of them. Never replaced it.

After seeing The Crystal Set supporting Ups & Downs on the weekend, I remember now what a lovely, jangly track this was… legitimately had not heard it in years before the weekend. Sounded great live (with the band including alumni of Died Pretty and The Reels).
