Sorry Saga - “It’s actually quite funny people thinking they know more than they actually do”

Unlike Charters of course.

And all that other “reliable evidence” they used against EFC

Targetting.

And Robinson, the AFL and ASADA will blame Dank all the way. Unreliable witness. Done deal.

would it be possible to have a thread where we post news articles from years ago and act like people might care this time around and then one where there are any new developments?

One of my favourite media reports, "AFL withdraws Doc Reid charges."

Source: AFL website, 18 Sept 2013.

AFL acknowledged unnamed persons identified only by their ‘profession’.

“Failures of governance within the high performance unit at Essendon led to
him being sidelined at the club, with key information kept from him by the
club’s sports scientists during much of 2012.”

That’s another thing Deano was excused for - the side lining the Doc but don’t worry, we’ll just blame James Hird.

AFL media are the masters of distraction from the real issues of football

I’d like to see some targeting.

Preferably through the scope of a .50 cal…

Apparently before tonight’s bugg case at the tribunal - the tribunal chairman made a statement regarding the tribunal’s independence and made specific reference to the Essendon case and mentioned they were happy for the process they went through be compared to CAS

WTAF?

Is he saying his cable doesn’t have strands?

wtaf?
They’re happy for an International not Court to overturn their decision with no oversight?
Is that what they meant?

The Gleeson article in the Age incudes direct quotes from Jones, covering the independence of the tribunal, in part directed at the criticism related to the Houli decision.
But he also took the opportunity to air frustration that the Essendon tibunal report had not been released, suggesting that if people were to read that report in conjunction with the CAS report they might be able to give an informed opinion.
Over to you Mr Hunt, in regard to your views on home-grown tribunals.

Reading between the lines - the AFL Tribunal chairman thinks the CAS decision was a load of ■■■■.

More specifically, he was annoyed that the finding wasn’t released to allow the great unwashed to see what a hash ASADA’s case was. Some paraphrasing there.

Except it was released (leaked), and no one cared.

Jones might have been using the officially non- released AFL report and the Houli episode as pegs to publicly air his views on CAS report and Hunt’s hit on " home- grown" tribunals.

Maybe when our ‘home-grown’ politicians make ■■■■■■ policy we can ask Switzerland to do it for us instead.

Have there been any developments with the Jackson Taylor case? My understanding was that the judge was going to take two weeks to consider the AFL’s application regarding security and that must be a month ago now.

Understand the judge hasn’t come back as yet.
