Speculation on the team to pile on the Cats - 2020 round 16

Will be announced Saturday evening

We play Sunday

Stanley and Tuohy in doubt this week. Selwood not 100% to play either.

They’ve flagged that they may bring in Fort, Jenkins or Ratugolea. Do we have match ups for them?

I don’t think Zerk is ready for Hawkins. He will need a lot of assistance. The guy is twice his weight. There’s always Hooker to help out, if he’s down back, I suppose.

Given our awful defensive matchups this year, I can’t wait to see Gleeson lining up on Hawkins at the first bounce

So maybe, rest/omit BZT, Hooker goes back and we play two rucks in Phillips and Draper?

Does McKenna get a game? Or is he done for the year?

Isn’t there whispers that McKenna has left the group… and possibly back in Ireland?

What would Worzel Gummidge do ?

He’d put Zerk on Hawkins, to harden them both up.

Remember: Hawkins may be a very big unit but in Worzel-speak he’s a pink marshmallow.

Really? In the last day? Him and Townsend were on Instagram on game day playing golf.

Just did ladder predictor by picking favourites for remaining 3 rounds, and two scenarios for us-

Win one game- 10th
No games- 13th.

That win is of course against the Dees.

So…lets bring Hibbered or Gulp,Cutlerina back as I think they both have 3 games to prove they even deserve mild consideraction to stay on the list.

I have Hibbered ahead of Cutler simply because Cutlerina is just embarrassing to our colours.

BZT did very well against Hawkins in the Colac preseason match .

forever.

Do a shot every time we hit a target by hand. You’ll be stone cold sober.

Never.
This week is Return of the MacK.
I hope.

So I expect we will manage McGrath ā€œconservativelyā€ until about 2 weeks before round 1 next year when we put him in for surgery.

bad news for ya, McGrath is out for the season.

MacK will be back.

Geelong love an intercept mark in defense, Hooker has to stay forward to try and even those 50/50 contests.
Plus it gives BTZ a chance to learn off Hawkins.

Don’t care who comes in but Hurley should be put into surgery, Daniher rested, Gleeson dropped and obviously McGrath out.

Hooker forward didn’t stop West Coast taking intercept marks all day. He’s not capable of getting to enough contests these days
