Speculation on the team to pile on the Cats - 2020 round 16

Yes, overdue.

Have no expectations and you won’t be disappointed. We are likely to be well beaten.
At the beginning of this season I felt bottom five and that’s about where we are or will end up.

With seconds to go Essendon in front by 5 points the ball is kicked deep into the Geelong goal square. It’s Gary Rohan vs Gleeson. Gleeson the man in front. Rohan puts both his arms round him like a bear hug and throws him to one side then marks the ball. Siren sounds. Whistle blows. Free kick Essendon for illegal contact. Gleeson has a shot from after the siren but can’t get it past the centre with a beautiful torpedo.

Essendon win by 5 points

In your dreams.

In ya wet dreams buddy…

No forward would ever need to bear hug Gleeson. They simply give him a nudge to the side and he falls down like a child being pushed over.

We need to have the same type of camaraderie. They send one of ours to the hospital, we send one of theirs to the morgue. That was the 2000 team way.

The flaw is that they only have to kick a behind, and then we have to kick it in.

Was that a free kick against Maynard? Surely it had to be

DK, I just praised you for your phenomenal recall, but you referred to 5 of the top 6 in that post, not 6/7 of the top 8. If I look to anyone for accuracy in their crushing negativity, it’s you. Don’t let us down.

I did tell my kid we’re not going coz we’re going to get pumped, like vs StK when he wanted to leave at half time. He still put the guilts on me so I ended up caving and got tix.

Can’t make it to this one (although not sad about that. Have close friends who are Cats supporters & was dreading that they might want to go with us). Will be at a motor bike track day at Morgan Park instead

More like in my nightmares

Yes. Yes, it should be a free kick to Robinson. But you’re forgetting two very important factors:

1 - The umpire who had a crystal clear view of it (number 6) is Dean Marghetts.

2 - It’s Collingwood.

I reckon we will soon rest the likes of Smith, Merrett and Saad at some stage. Those guys have been work horses and with all these 5 day breaks, will be due a spell.

I thought so too but then the umpire said “you started that, Mitch”.

Where’s the team?

Make sure your ambulance membership is up to date. You won’t make it passed the first quarter.

Isn’t this the Terry Wallace game plan?
