You all still on spotify? Move on already.
It’s fair to say that my Spotify wrapped shows my use case for Spotify (ie to play mostly movie soundtrack music and the like through the IKEA Sonos speaker in the kids room to help them go to sleep) rather than what I value (which would be found in my Bandcamp purchases)
so many excuses. just own your quirky music tastes ya pelicans
I’m not shocked , I’ve definitely moved more towards jazz style from the 90’s grunge. And a lot of it is vinyl driven.
But I didn’t think Norah Jones was overly prevalent on my playlists. Would have guessed Hooverphonics got more airtime.
Fair. And I don’t mind the How to Train your Dragon soundtrack, but it’s probably not all of my top 5 songs….
Who’s version of Moon River?
Melody Gardot.
My most played album this year was The Essential Melody Gardot , so the whole list is swayed by that.
There have been years when I’ve reacted to it with, no waaaaay. That’s not right.
This year seems pretty accurate, although there are a few surprises.
One thing that is definitely wrong is that FGTH’s Welcome To The Pleasuredome (track) doesn’t feature at all. It really should be at least top 20, so that’s weird.
Where to?
I tried Tidal and the algorithm was ■■■■, plus the gap between songs was too long.
Surprised it was almost the same as it’s always been. But I noticed my son has created a play list, which is just the ‘best of’ from my playlist. But also have a daughter spinning Taylor Swift, so we are getting our moneys worth.

I don’t remember listening to Crowded House THAT much, and certainly not that song.
Rest looks pretty accurate.
Edit. Just saw the total # of listens. Those figures are way out.
i’m still fuming that mine said my listening age was 55
the number itself doesn’t bother me, its more that being categorised as generation x is the worst thing thats ever happened to me
56 for me…
(No, that’s not accurate)
I should add I’m 47.
