St Essington's Day 2026 - was 5th July, apparently

The early onset of this annual day of reflection may be prevented by wiLDcArD roUNd, but soon we must start defrosting the relics.

Bags not having to do the holy ball sack of McCracken this year.

I just did the ladder predictor with us winning every remaining game, and I got us finishing 11th (on percentage.

Is there a definitive way to calculate this?

The results you pick for other games and margins matter. I can get us into the top 6 without too much effort.

Technical question (which will have no bearing on us at all this year).

Is wildcard round considered “finals”, or do we remain with the non-stupid definition?

well its “mathematically eliminated from finals contention”. even if you don’t count the wildcards themselves as finals, being in them still means you’re in contention for the traditional finals.

that said, i think that a loss today and a loss next week could be it

That’s not how this thread works.

Let’s just call it now so at least we get to celebrate something.

Wildcard rounds robbing us of an early celebration this year.

right so my only method has been fkng around with the ladder predictor, but i have it as being impossible to be 10th or higher with only 32 premiership points (8 wins), given the number of upcoming games between those in the 7th-14th range resulting in at least one of them gaining some points

so unless anyone else has another way of working it out for verification (and don’t do a fkng ai summary - this needs to be correct), i say that a loss this sunday does it
