That is true. Before flying to Aus, he only had his three days combine and one training session in Paris with the Cockerels.
The man started to play basketball at 17 though and then went on to play NCAA basketball in the US at 21… I’m not saying you can become an AFL footballer in a year or two, but he has something that you cannot learn: incredible height.

Yep, I checked again. Stan was 6’ 10" at 17, now is 7’ 1" or 216 cm which makes him a bit taller than Sandilands.
