You can’t think of one reason to watch episode 7??
Do you have a soul??
It’s full of many great scenes and humour…
I think you crazy as a coconut .

I'd watch a spin-off dedicated to life on the road with the Cantina Band from Ep#4. How'd they end up in that dusty sh*thole on Tatooine? Do they have dreams of one day performing for The Emperor? Group adventures after staffies at the end of the night? It would be great.
I think you crazy as a coconut .
LOL
Never heard that before
So this new one is between 4 and 5?
I read somewhere that it is before ep4, as the rebels already have the plans for the death star in the movie, Rogue One is the story of how they get those plans.
There are also rumors of the GOAT villain “Darth Vader” making an appearance in it.
If they can incorporate a Jar Jar Binks stabbing somewhere into the mix I for one will be well pleased.

Oddly, the avalanches just updated their websites for the first time in ten years!!!

I bet you would.
I think this is one of the most memorable films of this century so far...No joke…
Loved it…
Really enjoyed Looper as well and looking forward to what Rian/JJ combo will provide…
I think as time goes on ive begun to look at this movie less and less favorably
once the veneer of star wars wears off, for me, it just becomes a very bland and dumbed down reboot
i can not think of one reason why id watch ep 7 over any of the other star wars movies… whats original in it, whats exciting in it? where are the interesting original characters? wheres the mysticism and sanctity of the subject matter of the movie (the force/ jedi) that sucks you in?
definitely feel like its tried too hard to please crowds and set up a sequel that its forgotten to be a movie in its own right
really needs a strong episode 8 to pull it out of becoming just another generic action/ adventure movie
Yeah, when was the last time you watched the prequels?
I gave them another run after watching ep 7, and they were worse than I remembered.
This movie sh*ts all over ep 1-3 in story, acting, directing, humour… And nobody in ep 7 ‘doesn’t like sand.’

I watched all the movies in the weeks preceding watching ep 7
I agree that the prequels are worse than I remembered. I agree they are completely and utterly dull. Despite that they all have something in there to make me watch them… darth maul, the duel at the end of ep 1, ep1s score, sexy natalie portman in ep 2, christopher lee, yoda going ape ■■■■ at the end of ep 2, and i dont feel i need to justify ep3
7 just… i dunno, what is memorable about it? what is distinctive about it? if youve never seen a star wars movie you might go, oh that bad guy was sick ( but he was a petulant little twat as opposed to vader), you might say that deathstar was cool (but heck its been done twice before)
if you consider ep7 a reboot, then thats fine, let your kids enjoy it. god bless their ignorance. I dislike reboots at the best of times, but when youre given a franchise like star wars, its got so much fkg ‘lore’, so many characters, so many fkg aliens floating around in their universe and so many different planets, so many different everything that you could make a movie out of and create interesting and new stories from… but no, they bring back the same people, chuck them on the same planets (with different names), have them battle the same foes (in a different coat of paint), and chuck in the same twists (father/son connections), thats just a travesty… lazy, uninspired
ep7 got a few chuckles out of me, even a laugh or two, but really i dont go watching a star wars movie for a laugh
yeah if you havent realied i fkg am sick to death of reboots/ remakes for the sake of remakes, not because youve got something interesting and new to offer
if they can ■■■■ with star wars, what else can these hollywood moguls ■■■■ with… if they touch the godfather i will off myself, no joke
fk that got morbid.
Alex, I’m not gonna argue that ep 7 is a masterpiece. In fact, one of the main reasons it was so popular, was because quite simply ‘it didn’t suck.’ Which, after the horror of the prequels, was a pleasant surprise.
But I’m sorry, Natalie Portman’s Abs and a CGI Yoda bouncing off walls does not even begin to make up for how bad ep 2 is, and it’s certainly not a reason to sit through the rest of that crapheap of a film. (For the record, Daisy Ridley > Natalie Portman, any day of the week.)
Also, for all its positive feedback, ep 3 has the most cringe-worthy moment of any star wars film. I still feel a bit sick thinking of Vader screaming ‘Nooooooooooooooo.’
I never cringed during ep. 7. That alone puts it very comfortably in 4th place on the star wars ladder.
Also, I see it as the ‘history repeating’ device, rather than a total reboot.

Im pretty sure he was on Alderaan when the Death Star 1 blew it up, so no chance.

Put me in the too much of a reboot category as well. If the next one goes down the same track, they will lose me and a whole lot of other people. From the little shown it looks like Daisy will step up and take it in a different direction. l for one hope so.

It starts to get all too confusing. It’s like doctor who when they reference random old ■■■■.
Wonder if they will project the old characters in it.
JJ Abrams has stated that Rey’s parents were NOT in the latest movie: that rules out Skywalker/Solo parentage.
“Rey’s parents are not in Episode VII,” Abrams said to the audience. “So I can’t possibly at this moment tell you who they are.”
What about Finn?
he is either solos to an affair or spawn of mace windu.
I have an inkling he may have the force…
Just bought it for $15 at Kmart.
Dvd
I think Rey is related to the Ben Kenobi family…that’s my theory…
we shall see…
