Star Wars stuff (spoilers)

@alex.f.94 You didn’t see the end of the video then. Gary loved The Acolyte so much and it was so good for business he wants a second season. Lol

Gary (Nerdrotic) kicks off a social media movement to get the the show back

in that case it just makes me further question his contemptuous mocking of he people i mentioned in my post.

so many of these review videos I come across, and why I have turned away from watching them anymore, is that theyre just thinly veiled opportunities for the reviewer to needlessly and cruelly mock things or people they dont like.

Most people didn’t make it to episode 5. I didn’t make it past the Trailor.

The Disney Lucasfilm mob certainly have a sadistic approach to their content creation.
Unfortunately for me, much like the Bombers, I feel a tribal need to watch it even if I know it’s going to do my head in.

Disney doesn’t know when to stop

This looks like garbage why the fck does it look like they live on earth?

Fck me i want to be transported to a galaxy far,far away not be reminded of earth and real life

Disney needs to release a book called “How to destroy a franchise and run it into the ground”

Written and published by Kathleen Kennedy

Ok. Ive had enough beers to say it.

For a while now, Ive seen this Star Wars thread pop up. Usually with gripes, complaints and grievances.

I assume everyone who posts on here are grown men. As some one whose never seen a star wars movie, I may be wrong…but aren’t they kids movies? Maybe thats why you (grown men) don’t like em. As an outside observer, I dont see how grown men are the desired demographic. And if they are, I take it all back and will admit total ignorance and never enter this thread again.

I apologise to anyone who posts here regularly and is under 18 or a lady.

depends what you consider a ‘kids movie’

Considering you post in the weird steampunk/ fantasy comic book thread. Yeah, you should really just pipe down.

I can only judge it from a superficial perspective. From an outsider, it looks like a kids movie. I dont even know what its rated. Suffice to say, it aint Good Fellas.

It’s never claimed to be. It’s an IP that’s decades old, that also paved the way for a large part of the sci-fi fantasy scene in media and a lot of people like it.

It’s not that deep

Im not in there complaining. I like the visual arts from that era. Not really seeing the comparisons.

But fair enough. Star wars aint my business. I’ll stay out of it.

Yeah stay in your weird sweaty basement dwelling teenager cartoon soft ■■■■ lane.

You clearly get something out of it I don’t. But I shan’t judge.

It’s clearly a Goonies in space, almost 80’s kids take on a Star Wars flick.

Don’t see anything wrong with this at all.

I’ve watched every Disney Star Wars content and although a lot of it is not close to amazing, I’ll take it over none.

I’m by no means a fan of most Star Wars which has been released recently, but if you can’t work out that skeleton crew is a show for kids, then your a dead ■■■■.

Ahh, I’ll probably end up watching it with my kids. Probably why they keep making them. :man_shrugging:
