Supercoach - league

Anyone running a supercoach league paid or unpaid ?

Yeah I’d be keen too. Think there’s usually a few Blitz leagues.

I may as well post here.

There is a Blitz Keeper League with a spare spot available.
It’s DT though. Not SC.
There’s an entrance fee (it was $20 last year, but it may be a tad more).

You’ll be taking over my underwhelming and incredibly average team.
You’re squad is in the link below:

We have a thread for discussion:

The first post of that thread has last year’s rules, but some may be changing.

PM me, @Allblack or @Windy_Dill if you’re interested.

I’ll set up a cash league in time and invite everyone who played last year. If any spots pop up I’ll let people know.

Interested in others thoughts on Essendon players. Nothing better than getting a sneaky Essendon pod in your team after getting blitz insight.

Like every season, I’ve flooded my SC team with Essendon players… training the house down, new SC friendly role, back from injury, rookie tearing it up v Essendon in SIM.

Going through the cull now…

Blacki (Def) - getting a cheap number 1 ruck is SC gold. Now out of my team s as I read Bryant might be back in round 4-5… real risk he can’t generate cash before hitting the VFL.

Merret - point to prove? Selfish (high scoring) play as he shops himself? Training reports have him playing forward of the ball a bit. Always safe but can’t see a big upside.

Robey - even if he plays round 1 his high price combined with potential SC dead zone role (HHF) puts a question mark on him. Hoping he plays vfl early & becomes a trade down option later.

Reid - thought be might be a smokie after pumping out a series of 100-ish scores once he got up and running in 2025. But he’s priced a bit awkwardly & obviously has that injury record.

Locked (for now):

Sharp - first picked rookie

Parish - perfect example of mid price gold. Cheap for a mid price. Zero downside (pretty much can’t lose money even if he gets injured early). Could even last as M8

Caldwell - as posted on a few SC blogs, his elite SC points per minute on field means if he gets consistency, has nice upside as a top mid scorer. Cracking end of 2025 supports this theory.

Watch list:

Any other rookies off they get a spot like Kondo & Farrow. Don’t think Huss will play much & not a SC friendly role.

Too many bargains around that price point, would rather pick a player from one of the top teams like Serong, Gulden, Ashcroft, Heeney or even Petracca, not even sure how Brad is going to play Merrett this season.

Sharp and Parish is too Cheap to ignore if he has a seamless preseason.
