The Bomber Cafe has a container of frozen prawns available for sale at the end of the season.

Might also be thanks to Adam for his services as well.

Essendon has announced two changes to the team for this week’s game.

David Zaharakis and Matthew Leuenberger return for Saturday’s annual ‘Clash of the Sash’ against rivals Richmond.

The two will take the places of veteran Adam Cooney, who has been rested, and big man Sam Michael.

In a nod of confidence to Essendon’s youngsters, Conor McKenna, Kyle Langford and Jayden Laverde all hold their spots after promising performances in their return against St.Kilda.

Laverde will take great confidence out of last week’s game, playing for the first time since injuring his shoulder in round four.

Playing predominantly forward, Laverde moved well to provide another target for Essendon midfielders and was able to hit the scoreboard with two goals.

McKenna also showed good signs playing in a new position off half-back able to provide run through the middle of the ground.

Will Hams will also be able to continue his run in the seniors after maintaining his spot on the senior list despite Jonathan Simpkin being taken off the LTI.

Read more about Will Hams’ elevation here.

Fans are encouraged to get down and support the team this Saturday at the MCG.

Been sold candy???

Would it kill them to name the side in their starting positions

Smack lives! Interesting that he is named in the ruck with Leuy in the side, as Ivan indicates, probably not the true intent, but if they give him a chance early and he tears it up, that’s his hope for a ticket to 2017.

I suppose he can give Hampson a run for his money, although Leuy will be going to town in the ruck when it’s his turn.

Seems as though Shaws comments have been noted. May as well play the kids.

Goddard, Kelly & Gwilt the only 30+ in side. Gwilt perhaps might drop out for Francis the week after if he plays well in 2’s.

WHERES FRANGA? I’M GONNA RIOT WOOSHA.

Leuenberger in is massive. He is so important to the team now.
So pleased they kept Hams and Irish in.
■■■■ needs a rest, racking up 28 disposals each game is a bit much for an old man.
Next week Demps should go off to Port Douglas for a few weeks holiday so we can try out Jerret and clarify his future.

Fixed

Not enough Francis…

Would it kill them to name the side in their starting positions

Right on Ivan, what coach in their right mind would ever play Tippa in the back pocket after his sensational breakout as a forward against StKilda. Not saying he cant play back pocket, just saying it would be a huge waste of talent.

Good changes.

Francis has another week to get cherry ripe in the twos and then comes in next week to dominate (and win) his first home game (ala Parish).

How did you go in the Sheed’s era Ivan?

You wouldn’t even be sure who was playing and who might be out with the flu.

Really like the changes. Great chance for a few guys to cycle through cooneys role who have a lot to prove as we get to the pointy end of the season.

Smack gets a go to tandem with luey which should suit better.

Like mckenna gets another go.

Go dons
