Caddy thought he was going to the Cats so clearly Geelong gave him sufficient reason to belive they were very keen.
Ultimately, we got the player we absolutely needed to take. I’m glad we didn’t leave it to chance. You have to be aggressive to get your man sometimes.

yeah I get there’s a price i just don’t think we needed to trade up. i don’t think the cats wanted him. some saying they were going to trade down to someone else. it’s wasn’t the crows already jumped ahead. the swans? doubt geelong really wanted to slide that far. they wanted and needed sullivan
