We traded out our 3rd I think to Geelong to go up one to make sure of Caddy ie pick 11 and 31 out for 10

I said at the time it should have been a straight trade for zerk, got reamed by port again.
That useless behind against Freo (as enjoyable as it was at the time) cost us THREE spots in the draft. FARK

Saw Isaac Kako today at the local edfl footy. He had a moon boot on and was on crutches.
I said to him hopefully you can be our saviour next year. He just smiled and said thanks mate

So we know we probably get the following:
First selection - open
Second selection - Kako bid
Subsequent late selection resulting in - Nguyen bid
That gives us a small forward and small defender.
Remaining needs to fill are:
Key forward
Speed and foot skills from HB and the wing
Another small forward
Lalor looks awesome, but is he more of a need than a key forward? Probably not.
So, first pick needs to be used on a key forward to pair with Caddy for 10 years.
Kako is next.
Any other picks go on small forwards and/or outside speed and kicking, with a possible match for Nyugen late.

Massimo was a huge fan favourite due to his speed plus ability to pin point passes, in a team where most cant hit he side of a barn it stands out when your a good kick.

The only teams that haven’t bottomed out to rebuild the list is Sydney and Geelong. It’s virtually impossible to build a list from 9th every year.
