Yes Haba Rye … fkn great gig
Just got my tickets for Ghost in October. Cant wait
Yeah. Northcote gig was really cool too. Everyone’s too old to go wild, so just enjoy the nostalgia.
Blast from the past support, Seminal Rats, which was a nice surprise.
Corner gig tomorrow…
Yeh I enjoyed the chilled crowd also. Tomorrow Helmet at The Croxton , should be a ripper
Steve’s pedal board.
Northcote social club is a great sounding room too. But I gotta say the Corner, it’s the loudest room in town.
Heading to Cherry on Sunday for Mudhoney
I’m heading along after the match on Sunday
Where do the have staged for cherry? Do they close off collins st?
Anyone here purchase tickets to the You Am I gigs in August, playing The Who’s Tommy!? Got three Vic shows, Fkstn, Palais and Geelong.
I’m thinking about it, not bought anything yet.
I was just to the front and left of him.
I’ll admit I was a huge fan in the 90s, but I do struggle with that genre now. Just too much riffage for my sensitive decrepit ears. Thought they were really good though. Tight as always, played the classics, seemed to enjoy being there.
Plus I got to meet the bass player from BIFF while wearing my BIFF Tshirt! Bonus!
Last day and they’re getting close. If you were umming and ahhing about it, just do it!
You’d think there’d have to be a wealthy benefactor somewhere that would do it. Maybe even the state government could help out in some capacity. All those inner north lefties would froff if Dan stumped up some $$
Something happened in the past day or so, cos it suddenly jumped around $1M.
Nice.
the people who’re trying to buy have done a nice job at Last Chance. Definitely my type of bar, but the Tote would be much easier to get to.
Yeah they’re great. Treat bands really well, it’s always good playing there. Hope it gets up
The Last Chance raised the $3 million they were after and then the Tote put out a statement saying congrats, but maybe not? Looks like they may be using it as leverage to get a larger offer from developers.
What a massive buzz-kill.
So fkn cynical
