Australia will still be chasing 400+ on a waring wicket, so hardly iniative. But it does perk the spirits of the fielders and create a little excitement.

All of this brilliant planning by the Coach and brains trust has really paid off. All of those bowling plans for Jaiswel really worked.
All that hard work by the batters fixing their kinks (that have become so obvious) really paid off.
Apparently the Australian brains trust gave the Aussie bowling coach (Vetorri) the week off to attend the IPL auction - so he’s not even at the ground.
It’s embarrassing it’s a joke. It’s hubris of the highest order. It requires a bloody response. I want players dropped and the coach on notice that a repeat of this embarrassing performance in Adelaide and he’s gone.
Anyone saying oh it’s just one test are kidding themselves. It’s the manner in which they have played and lack of fight which is so obvious

We were unprepared. We thought we could turn up with next to no cricket and take on India. It’s hubris and stupidity. We let our bowling coach have the week off to attend the IPL auction . Our batting lineup has been rubbish for 2 years and nobody can see this? We have showed no fight since the end of the second session on day 1. Our bowlers are cooking in this 3rd innings and will be clapped out for Adelaide. Our coach is hopeless and talks like a corporate HR manager. We have no plans or fielding strategies for their star opener. We’re playing at home and supposed to be the number 1 team in the world. It’s embarrassing
