No to Carey opening but there still could be room for both Green and Webster. Webster is a genuine 6 or 7 but Green can bat top 4

No team will open with a keeper. Too hard keeping for a 100 overs then going straight out to bat.

A 19yo who’s been around for all of three minutes should not be mouthing off in general, and he absolutely should not be mouthing off at the opposition captain. At the very least it’s plain dumb to antagonise the best bowler in the world on a spicy pitch.

Is that from yesterday? If so, it wouldn’t make much sense to put sandpaper in his shoe given they only had 20 minutes to bowl with a new ball.
