Yes from yesterday. What ever it was dropped out when he took his shoe off. Could be anything but it was rather strange.
Totally disagree. Konstas has done nothing outwardly disrespectful and is clearly thriving off the energy. And he cops as good as he gives.
He was the first Aussie batsman to actually force Bumrah to change his line and length and clearly gets under his skin.
This is what test cricket I reçkon, Itâs a battle of skill but also of egos.
Besides, it makes for compelling watching!
What times it start today?
I think Webster, if he shows enough with the bat this Test, could have himself a nice little 30-40 Test career. The fact he bowled so much yesterday, I think Pat saw him and thought âyeah, I can throw the ball to him and he can get through the grunt work from one endâ. If he shows heâs not up to it with the stick then he wonât last, but if we see something from him, say a hard fought 30 or better, then he will be a regular in Test squads, overseas tours and potentially the XI.
Heâs absolutely boiled their â â â â . They clearly do not know how to take him. Itâs almost like âwho is this guy? Why isnât he bowing down to us and worshipping the ground we walk on?â He doesnât give a â â â â , and I love it! And yes, it makes for far more entertaining viewing.
Personally I think the only problem with his behaviour is that heâs setting himself up for a fall. But the true champions back themselves then succeed. Hopefully heâs a champion and not a dill.
Cummins wonât tell him that in 100 years. The team like that heâs distracting the Indians. Heâs the only Aus batter that has broken up Bumrahâs line and length. The team directly benefitted from it. Konstas is currently a tactic in and of himself.
Wouldnât mind seeing Konstas middle peg laying flat on the turf this morning.
Mouthing off at the opposition captain, especially when youâre just starting out in the game, is disrespectful.
Couldnât agree more. Itâs akin to a year 7 kid mouthing off to a year 12. They just have to be put in their place.
Apparently people were lined up outside the SCG Members at 4AM! Very very keen!
If year 12s behaved like that to a year 7, then whoâs the jerk?
Good start Marnus.
If a young kid decided to mouth off and have a crack, then theyâre fair game.
Wow. Glad I didnât go to your school.
Not condoning physical violence at all but they should know their place.
1st hour is key to this game.
Hey, itâs your metaphor.
If my 17 year-old did that to a 12 year-old, we would be having words.
Very strong ones.
â â â â theyâre chirpy today
India need to come out strongly and do what ever they can to take early wickets.
