Super! Well done Uzi!

Good bounceback from Koala after being hapless against Boomerah. He has had three lives though.

Awesome innings Uzzi! Can say I thought he was cooked and went on a year too long, great to see him back in form

Seriously I’ve faced better bowling playing road cricket …

You’d be embarrassed to get out to it :rofl:

Can’t knock a bloke for getting a ton but geez I’d back myself

Yes great innings. Maybe he will get through to the Ashes now

Let’s see how he goes vs SA and WI first.

But it doesn’t hurt his chances.

That knock will keep his spot safe until the next Ashes in England!

Yep… gonna be some bigtime floofing of averages this series…

I played in a Sri Lankan Cricket Team for years. Always had great batters but pace bowlers, not so good, hence why I opened the bowling. Must be a thing with them.

Sri Lanka have produced some decent quicks but is it their pitch preparation that stymies their progression or do they produce these decks due to lack of quicks?

I would say they most likely prepare them due to a lack of quicks. I faced one ball from Malinga and ducked and ran. He was blinding quick. Had to change my undies  I played for Kandy Sports Club, A Grade many years ago and he turned up at training with Aravinda De Silva as they knew the guys. (Just some useless information for the day).

1 ball was enough - frightening  Thank goodness he sprayed it down the leg side.

Smiff made a run a ball 50 then parked the bus. Completely changed how he played. No more moving down the pitch, aggression gone etc.

Odd.

Maybe trying to ensure the TON.
