He leaves us tomorrow. Our son is off to Sydney to work for Google and Obi’s going too. We’re going to miss him. The dog that is. We were hoping he might say keep him but apparently Google allows dogs in the office. My wife is already making arrangements to play dog sitter whenever our son has to go os or interstate. He’s been wonderful for us. The dog not the son. Just such a lovely creature. Lively, cuddly and a barrel of fun in one package. ■■■■, now I’m tearing up…
We are down the coast and staying in a quiet litrle pocket near Gerroa where we have had a visitor every morning so far. Lovely dog, extremely well cared for, and we think he lives in a farmhouse down the road. He is certainly living his best life and is getting plenty of attention when he visits us. Such a lovely and welcome addition to our stay here.
Our little mate was back again this morning as usual. I’m pretty sure he knows we’re missing our dog and is here to fill in. He even came on a morning walk with us! Such a good boy. We’re in love.
About a ten minute drive from Seven Mile Beach. Perfect weather today and spent a large portion of it there before a drive down to Huskisson for an early dinner at Pasta Buoy. I really love this area and yes, very expensive place to buy. Not sure I’d want to live here though. Not at this stage of my life anyway.
We had a Jack Russell (named Russell) when I was a kid. He got out, found his way to Dandy Train Station. Some school kids took him on the train, and he ended up with the driver who called the number on his tag once he got to Flinders Street. He brought him back to Dandy Station and Mum picked him up.
