The weather for yesterday’s morning walk felt a lot like a Sydney walk with the sun out and a relatively mild temperature, but Canberra turned it on for us this morning!

Sitting in the 24hr vet waiting for news on Loki after he had two seizures this evening, the 2nd one in the vet waiting room. He has epilepsy and I had run out of tablets today and was hoping the next delivery would arrive in time, but no luck.
Hopefully he’s ok and there’s no lasting issues so he can go back to sleeping like a dead bug.

After several more seizures and an extremely high body tempteture, Loki ended up heavily sedated and on IV fluids and oxygen all last night and most of today. Very relieved to be told no permanent damage and just a few weeks of extra medication to get him back to normal. He’s roaming around the house a bit groggy but full of energy and is drooling all over the joint, but seems pretty happy to be home.
The $1500 lesson is make sure your dog gets all his epilepsy meds on schedule or risk a really ■■■■ experience.

Here’s Ollie six months after being diagnosed with cancer. Tough little bugger made it to 12 months but today we had to let him go. Funny little bloke:
