I live in Sydney and have a couple of comfy couches and a spare bed.

Happy for some of the lads to crash for a few hours.

I am sure Essendon have thought about it and worked out a bit of a plan.

They’ll go straight to the ground and rest up there, it’s only an hour flight and I’m sure some will have a power nap or they might have a biff on the plane with the shin boners and rev them up

im pretty confident of the win. Sydney struggled to beat fellow bottom 4 contendors the crows. We are a top 8 team this is top 8 vs bottom 4

Swans will cop it next weekend at Marvel. (albeit not the late game) as will the Giants.

Plus nothin stopping the club booking some hotel rooms for a nap this arvo if thats the right thing.

Its not like Sydney is short of a hotel room at the moment.

When they played at the Gold Coast they came up the night before, slept in an unfamiliar room/bed, wandered around town shopping & whatever they wanted before going out to the ground pre game. I really don’t see any difference. I agree with WOB - if they can’t cope with today then they’re not up to playing elite sport.

I watched em at the gold coast.

Saw pidge, langers and I think parish at the Casino at about 1 or 2am after the match. (left em to their own desires rather than ask for a :selfie:)

Im not worried about fitness. More think adjusting to the conditions may mean the swans get the jump Q1. Hopefully not.

Will be greasy maybe heavy. Usual small ground.
