We all need a bit of a cheer up
Gee he was very, very good.
He was a true star of the game and not recognised enough by this game.
Class pure class.
Hope he’s doing well, he was great for the club.
Under rated amongst Essendon supporters and football public.
He’s on the same level as Hird IMO.
And his team mates said the same.
Superstar, my mum(Italian in Perth) became a bombers supporter after seeing those beatiful Italiano’s, Merc, Misiti, Ses and Cara.
One of my all time favourites.
Absolute rolls royce in his prime.
And his 93 Prelim goal is still the loudest and most physical noise I’ve heard at a game
Superstar. And completely underrated outside Essendon supporters.
That qualifying final vs Sydney when he was BOG on the back of a quarter and a half was all time.
Would have dominated any era.
Not enough Italians in Ess team atm!
Caracella’s comes from Irish stock.
Well there’s Raz but…yeah.
Lav is Italian too.
He is in my top 5 in my 38 years of a being supporter. So skilled
Yep… need more!
Anyone know what he’s up to now?
I thought he was a great player and loved to watch him. He wasn’t as good as Hird, but was a champion player in a champion team.
Can’t get much better than that!
that’s a highlights reel to savour
he certainly knew how to find the goals
He is a chippy now working on building sites across Melbourne. He is very understated and humble, a good worker by all reports.
Did a footy clinic with him as a junior, he seemed very reserved and shy. I wondered are they contractually obliged to attend those things, or do they volunteer for maybe a slight bump in pay? Of all of them I attended not many of the pros seemed like they wanted to be there. But then coming down to Ballarat in winter I can hardly blame them. Anyway superb player, his year in '99 was absolutely elite and he should have fared better in the brownlow count.
