@wimmera1 No one likes a stickler but I’m going to have to stickle here. Each song selection is to remain up for 1 day so to allow for a more representative vote. Things can change over 24 hours. Votes close for each selection at 6pm EST, are then tallied and the DJ King either lives or dies by their choice of song.
So to get this back on track, keep the latest number up until 6pm EST today and if the yes’s outweigh the no’s, THEN post your next selection.

I’d like to suggest running a 5-track set per 24hrs, with voting applied to the ‘set’ rather than a track. That way - it doesn’t take a week to hear 7 songs…and you get a better idea on the calibre of the DJ.

It will slow things down but will then allow us to compare and ultimately boast about the various King DJ’s reigns. For example, in the future by the way you’re going, I feel that you will one day say “a 15x reign is pretty good, but come back to me when you’re still in charge after a month. And not one of those sh*tty 28 day months either, a proper 31x day month”…

I like the way you’re going about this. You’re building confidence in the audience and are gaining a broad spectrum of interested listeners. Building credits in the bank so to speak. I reckon it will allow you some freedom down the track to get really avant-garde without the audience necking you at the first opportunity. Kraftwerk on day 1 might get you tossed out, Kraftwerk on day 12 might just work.
