Suddenly I feel like I’m back at Nicabellas after a session at Darby’s.
Yeah ok.

Great band after that song
Welcome to Area Croydon!
FMD, that song was a STAPLE there…
Yes!
My brother is/was a massive Prince fan.
But my brother is also a douche.
So, No.
Not a big Prince fan, but I’ll go a yes.
Enjoyed the first half of your set, not so much the second half. I just can’t. Sorry, no.
Nooooooo. My daggy aunts and uncles have been dancing to the last few. This party’s lame.
No, to this particular Prince song. Not a huge fan - preferred him in sparse mode (Kiss, Sign O The Times, Alphabet St etc)
I like Prince.
But I don’t particularly need to hear this song again.
No.
Oh sweet baby jeebus AREA Croydon, that’s a blast from the past. During the mid 80’s I spent a bit of time there before graduating to the city clubs.
yes
Not sure which embarrassing admission is worse. This or diggers story.
That’s a yes.
There was an underage disco in Mooroolbark back in the day that would have played Prince. Forgot the name…Hipnosis/Hypnosis? Also, Katies at Knox City.

yes
We may even have punched-on there!
As an aside, I gave Paul Van Der Haar a lift home from there one night. He’d been in the public bar, was ■■■■■■ as a fart, trying to get into the nightclub wearing a singlet and footy shorts. The bouncer wasn’t having a bar of it and Vander was drunkenly slurring “but I’m Paul Van Der Haar” at him. I was heading home anyway, knew where he lived (all of us in the area knew where Salmon, Vander and O’Donnell lived…) so volunteered to give him a lift. It may have been while he was still playing…
Also, Katies at Knox City
Kaytee’s! My hit-miss ratio was fair-to-decent there (ordinary most everywhere else…)

It was quite possibly at half-time.
It was a massive pickup joint. Everyone scored there.
