Sob story alert.

When my first marriage broke down I was a cliche. I was drinking the better part of a bottle of whisky two nights a week to Johnny Cash songs and hitting the town pretty hard every weekend to drown the part of me that was hurting. I was working in a cafe I owned and I’d given up putting together playlists for the place years before. One morning I stumped up fairly seedy to the shop and walked in the door as this song came on and something clicked. I realised that I was choosing to wallow in my own self indulgent, self pity and I decided that was over and it was. I changed my mind.
