The reigning DJ King (Mk VIII) is @somebody else

And, speaking from recent experience, about half-a-dozen is the limit before the baying masses will turn on ya…

Slip in something from Dribble J’s Top 100 1999 every few tracks and you’ll get a good run at it. @JohnRain is an expert at reading them in this way… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

nope

The crowd was clearly loving it and you kept playing it, in what universe is that not crowd pleasing? Not sure the decade has any relevance. I just think you played the same card too many times in a row, and personally like diversity within sets which is why it grew tiresome for me in the end. That’s just my opinion.

First ball yes

Never heard of them before, it’s just OK enough for a first ball yes.

YES

P.S. Jarvis Cocker’s lowest moment was in 2009 when he played Petey in the Fantastic Mr Fox movie. Petey gets berated for bad song writing.

Yep

Pot, kettle, black…No offence meant Crazy, but I think Gnik’s set was a hell of a lot more diverse than your recent set

Great set @Gnik…there was a lot of new music (for me) in it.

What a salesman you are @up_up

After such a stirring recommendation, how could I possibly vote no?

Yes

A bold play Upsy…
Pulp were a bit of an acquired taste at their best, and this certainly ain’t that.
I’ll give a first ball yes but I didn’t like it (or them really…)

Out of respect to @Gnik , @up_up goes down-down

I believe they’re even using more than 2 chords here…

They were wastrels in their earlier days
