And much better for it…
Yes
I’m currently youtubing through some of their classic 70s songs…if you don’t like the likes of Down, Down, Caroline and Roll Over Lay Down, then you have no soul…I remember listening to them at the time…they were hugely popular here in Oz
I remember the days when we used to spin tracks that were released within the last 20 years. They were good times.
Have a yes anyway.
I take big offence, I can’t see in what way Gniks set was more diverse? Baffling call. Gnik literally played 9 songs that were basically entirely 60’s psych. All of them. I played an Aussie hip hop, a song from the 60’s, a 7 minute ambient instrumental, a 3 minute shoegazer, a modern day EDM and a song comprised almost entirely on the piano with no other instrumemts and threw in a psych pop myself.
I’m not having a go at Gnik I enjoyed his songs I just gave my opinion after the 9th as to why I voted no, which I thought was reasonable and at least gave him a reason.
Yes for the song.
Sorry up up. That was a bit yucky. no.

Take offence if you need to…as I said, none was meant.
It’s all a matter of opinion isn’t it…to me, your set sounded very similar whereas Gniks was all over the place (in a good way).
Maybe it’s more to do with my affinity for the stuff he was playing which appeals to me much more than a lot of the stuff you play.
However, I will just leave you with this quote from your recent set

I think your sets challenge me more than anyone else in here Crazy.
So many of your songs seem to build up as they go…this was another.
Woah, that’s one set of bad haircuts. This one reminds me of Russell Morris, . YES
tune in next week for more crazy_bomber vs swoodley.
It’s a clash of the titans folks- deep psych diversity v broad eras diversity. @Klawdy wants something more recent, and my brother gave me this record only last Saturday. My favourite Vegas Mormons just could be yours too:
Yes.
One of the killers best songs. Love that one. Yes
I hate when a band starts with the intro chorus kind of bit then goes “haha tricked ya here’s the lame verse” Also , they’re a bit Matchbox 20 for mine. NO
This was precisely the point that The Killers lost me. The rest of Sam’s Town is good to great, but I’ve always skipped this track… it’s fkn twee and terrible.
NO!!!

fkn twee
underrated phrase. When I worked at Readings in the 90s we had a 3RRR world music DJ come in and borrow stock to play on her show. She personified twee and the term always reminds me of her.
Evening punters
yes
Thanks a bloody lot for taking my suggestion literally & kicking off Fight Club today without me. Sheeeeeeeeeeeettttt!!!
Not a big fan of The Killers, but I am partial to a lovely Asian tenderonie, even if she reveals herself to be a skeleton. BTW, is that the young lady out of 2 Fast 2 Furious? Looks like her.
Yes.
4-2
nope
