I’ve heard of them, but I’ve never heard any of their stuff. They were a big deal back in the 60s or 70s, right?

Oh boy. It’s that dude I hate (except when @coldblood plays him) and 3 other guys that make him sound worse. The instrumentation was OK but those vocals put me into a baakkeeeresque spin of epic proportions. Vomitous Blah!

Yes Kira…they were hugely popular…probably the forerunners of what became known as The West Coast Sound that produced the likes of The Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Linda Ronstadt, Poco to name a few.
Originally just Crosby, Stills & Nash and then Neil Young joined for a period of time.

Yeh, I went and read their wikipedia and had a listen to a couple of other songs. Not sure I like their music much, but some of their vocal work sounds interesting.

A good place to start if you want to hear more…all of them were able to sing which made them standout at the time.
