90s is actually tough.
By rights there could be rolled gold x 30 bangers from the DJs.
I ended up finding about 3-4 to choose from each band per album
I can’t decide between Vasoline and Glycerine
Sounds slippy, born slippy.
Also on the 80s on first read through I thought “Bam Bam”, cool, someone’s playing the original Seattle grunge, but I only played them a month ago. Then I realised…
Like every decade?
I went down a rabbit hole, found the track I wanted to play only existed on SoundCloud, then gave up.
I know you’re being silly. So I’ll be silly too.
With the advent of CDs there were more tracks and more music per album. So yes, more bangers in the 90s than all previous decades (not combined, obviously)
More bangers, or more filler? I mean we’re bands dropping the best tracks off their albums? And it goes without saying that the 10s should have the most bangers given the removal of constraints around album size and the reduced cost of production etc …
Just waiting for Wim’s votes now…I’m about to go offline for a few hours as my daughter is over for dinner.
All 90s songs are in
I also meant to reply to this one earlier. I reckon there’s an element of "the younger you were at the time, the less likely you are to know stuff beyond the mainstream. And voters will always go with some degree of familiarity.
Bah, we got so close to another round tonight.
i didnt even get to albums…
Wim did warn us …
We can afford to give Wimm all the time he needs to recognise my song as the worthy recipient of his 5 votes…
Can’t we?
A few hours? With the time difference does that mean it’ll be only me and Swoodley here to curse the leaderboard and post 90s bump gifs?
If there’s no Spice Girls, Brittany or Christina Aguilera I’m going to be disappointed that we haven’t accurately represented the 90s
Frosty, pls.
