Zoolook was interesting. I could hear later sounds and…patterns in it, while it was obviously very rooted in the eighties. Very different to Oxygene.
Bonzer efforts by MrJez and Peos. Lime Spiders was the pick but I thought Felt was good also.

I’ve been voted out before on Little Wing and got 10-0 on Hot for Teacher. Interesting that the tables are turned in these votes.

I had a pool of about four or five songs and very nearly went with the @Preliminary_Point2 selection Nucleus but felt ten minutes of Electro was gonna be a stretch for the crowd.

Had a great time participating in this. Have discovered some good tunes as a result as well. Magazine has been the highlight. Melting in the Sun pretty decent also.

Well, you gave me the idea for The Swing from one of your posts, so I was banking on a 5 from you. And then I applied Jez’s side 1 track 2 rule…
When you got a last minute wildcard (after I’d submitted) it was… somewhat infuriating…

Thanks to everyone for your votes, I flipped and flopped and that was the third song I sent Peos. Huge thanks to @Paul_Peos for running a great comp.
Finally, I see “mrjez cheated his way to win Blonde DJ” becoming a meme here already, which kinda sux. It’s funny and harmless, but I’d like to put it on record here for future:
I sent my track “well in advance” of the round.
I got a message live in the comp that it was a double up.
I took all of one minute to choose a new track, so as not to disturb the flow.
I backed that track in from there.
I gave 5 votes to the original track, even though I wished it were mine.
I prepared and got pumped for Wildcard.
I got told I was in the final and had no choice in the matter.
