If anything it’s a ripping theme, cos it really tests out what you’re gonna do, the slow burn, the smash and grab, the anthemic, the novelly overly long number…

What would you maybe have played had you made this round?
I was thinking a Harvey Danger track 5 that I felt was a bit too long for that first round. Possibly even some Big Black.

Ah the possibilities…
I could have gone with any number of classic Led Zeppelin tracks
or
A bit of Pink Floyd…Dogs or Sheep spring to mind
and if not them, then
Some Prog Rock or Stoner Rock
All would have been better than the entries for the final round
(imo…and that’s probably why I don’t make the finals…except for that one time…)

After the Brad debacle in round 1, I hadn’t really thought too much about it… too busy scrambling around for rounds 2 and 3.
Smashing Pumpkins - Geek USA maybe? Would be fighting grunge-fatigue and the polarising nature of Corgan’s voice (which I find a bit tiresome too) though.
Bis - The End Starts Today, possibly. Have played 'em twice before though…
