The Reigning Dj King (Mk XIV) is currently resting whilst Blonde DJ takes Centre Stage

You just described my favourite type of music.

It was ok, it’s a bare yes

At a less festive time of year, it’d be a no.

Going to see them next year and it will prolly just be the 3-4 tracks off the new album.

Have a yes from me if I haven’t given you one.

I’m a yes I’ve decided, let’s move this along

7-2…next song please

Im a massive fan. I went and saw them maybe 7 years ago. Which was a big move for me, because Im not a fan of the live music experience. But I just had to go.

Theyre one of my favourite bands, but to be honest, i do feel their last two records were a touch average. To many vocals. Theyve moved away from the formula that made them so great for so long.

Don’t think there’s any vocals on the new album.

I’m a new fan, and going with a mate, so should be fun. I’m usually into short and fast shouty music, so this will be fun.

From what I can see each tour the basically play the current album.

I think swoods has latched to every single DJ in here at some point. He’s like that middle-aged woman desperate to find a man and ends coming on waaaaay too strong and ends up scaring them away.

The problem isn’t us swoods, it’s you

I believe the correct response here is: Fark You

If you’re referring to my infamous sojourn to Boronia Cinema by train, it was a pastel lemon jumper with cream baggies, with a lovely cream & pastel apricot knitted belt and matching cream-coloured Kiaks. Hey, it was 1985… I just misjudged that fashion which was moderately accpetable in Ringwood was rather less tolerated in Boronia… If I’d gone with the more sensible pastel blue it may perhaps have been a less uncomfortable experience…

I learnt early that following fashion is a foolhardy enterprise…

I don’t want any ambiguity

Yes

That was such a cool track

I don’t think the lemon jumper was the problem…that belt sounds like a shocker.

Kiaks…went with everything back in the day, probably the safer option would have been the dark blue.

Yes to the song
The Coasters have lots of forgotten Gems

Shocking doesn’t begin to convey just how poor a choice it was. It wasn’t a million miles from the cream one in this pic, but it had alternating horizontal lines of pastel apricot, grey and cream. It was… very, very poor indeed…

And yes to The Coasters.

Trying to find a picture of Kiaks is like the Mandela effect !!

I had a pair, thick cloth like, with outside stitching, similar to tribal Indian clothing

How about some Treads from the 70s
