yeppety yep
There’s a strong chance of a no vote unless it’s an unusually good carol
Well, I count 7…im prepared to sacrifice my DJ holdings for a “carol”
Having endured half a dozen Christmases working at Safeway and being force-fed Christmas Muzak all day-every day for a month, my threshold for carols is very, very low indeed…
Let me set the scene…
Its Christmas 1968, and like all good rock bands, Canned Heat are hell bent on recording a “Christmas Boogie”. But as they arrive at the studio, chaos ensures. Unbeknownst to the band, the studio is currently infested with mice. On further investigation, the band discover that its not in fact a mice infestation, but a chipmunk plague. Alvin, Simon and Theodore (of Chipmunk fame) are also present in the studio determined to preserve their own Christmas song on tape.
Initially, there is tension between the two feuding bands, but in true Christmas Spirit, both bands are able to put their differences behind them, and record a truly Boogified Christmas tune.
I now proudly present to you their creative outcome…
Wow.
I was prepared to yes anything…
Why you gotta be like that?
No.
I recently heard Beiber’s attempt so that would have been an auto yes.
Just to confirm…you heard Beiber’s version but it’s the Hendrix version you would have given an auto yes??
I read your back story and came in really wanting to like it, I just couldn’t get into the spirit though, and just when I was maybe warming info the boogie 3 quarter of the way through Alvin came back and ruined it.
Ho ho ho no no no
Needed more chipmunk
No
Uh…yeah?
Can we give ‘double no’ ? It’s just like a ‘double yes’, only it’s a no.
Not my actual votes, just asking for a friend.
Lets collaborate and make it two Nos
Man, who put the carol idea in my head??
I feel like ive ruined Christmas
Nah you’ve made it better.
I’m looking out over that Golden Gate Bridge on another gorgeous sunny Saturday and I’m seeing that bumper to bumper traffic.
It’s your favourite radio station, your favourite radio city, the city that rocks, the city that never sleeps.
